CABASSE: Built in the green valley of the Issole River, the village has always had a privileged position in the Var. The area has been inhabited since prehistoric times with remains to be found to the north of the village. At the beginning of the modern era, there was a Roman village on site. In the Middle Ages, the first mention of Cabasse villas came in 1010 when the village was part of the lands of St Victor of Marseille.
